Good evening, Tiger Families!
Due to the continuation of the inclement weather, we will once again be conducting an eLearning day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27. Our format for tomorrow will be different from the last two (2) days (Friday and today). Tomorrow will be a Synchronous eLearning day in which students will be required to check in with their teachers at the assigned given time for each period. In order to get credit for being present, students must check in with their teachers at the designated period of time. Each period will have a 30 minute time frame in order to check in. That schedule will be listed below. Students will also have an assignment from their teachers that they must complete. Teachers will determine the amount of time the student will have to hand in their assignment(s). This will also present the time in which the students can ask their teachers any questions they may have.
We realize this is not the most practical way of conducting the educational process, however we are making the most of the situation and hope that your students can get the most out the opportunity. Please take the time to follow up with your student(s), confirming they have completed the work they have been assigned. This provides a great chance for you as the parent to see what is taking place with your student's education.
Period 1: 10:00 - 10:30
Period 2: 10:35 - 11:05
Period 3: 11:10 - 11:40
Period 4: 11:45 - 12:15
Lunch 12:15 - 1:15
Period 5: 1:20 - 1:50
Period 6: 1:55 - 2:25
Period 7: 2:30 - 3:00
Your cooperation and support of this process is greatly appreciated and should you have any questions specific to one of your student's classes, reach out to their teacher to ask any questions you (or they) may have. If you have any other questions of concerns please feel free to contact me. Thank you for your time and to each of you All the Best!
Respectfully,
Greg Kyle Principal Alexandria-Monroe Jr/Sr High School

We will have an asynchronous learning day (students work independently on assignments) tomorrow, Monday, January 26 . Here are some items to help them make sure they get the work completed for tomorrow:
- Students have one calendar week to complete the assignment(s) and turn it in for credit. This will also count towards their attendance for their classes on that day (tomorrow, Jan. 26, 2026).
- Attendance will be reported the day after the assignment is due. Each teacher will turn in a class roster marking who has or has not completed the assignment to the front office.
Again, these assignments/activities are for both a grade and their attendance. Assignments will need to be turned in no later than 12 noon, Monday, February 2.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out and everyone stay warm and be safe.
All the Best,
Mr. Kyle
